Sec. 5‑801.
Penalties.
Any person who violates any of the provisions of this Chapter, except a person who violates a provision for which a different criminal penalty is indicated, shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Any person who violates any provisions of Section 5‑701 shall be guilty of a Class 3 felony.

Sec. 5‑802. The violation of any rule or regulation promulgated by the Office of the Secretary of State under this Chapter shall not in and of itself constitute a criminal offense.
