O.C.G.A. 53-9-43 (2010)
53-9-43. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Report of conservator; contents; investigation and order of superior court; modification of order

The conservator shall, within 60 days after his appointment, make a written report to the superior court setting forth the condition of the estate, together with a schedule of any debts which may be owed by the absentee, an estimate of the income from the estate and the expenses necessary to the preservation of the same, and a statement showing the names, ages, and condition of any persons who may have been dependent upon the absentee. The judge, after making such further investigation as he may deem proper, may make such order as will most effectively tend to provide for the support of any persons who may have been dependent upon the absentee for support and shall authorize and direct the conservator to carry out the order. The order may provide for the payment of such debts of the absentee as the court deems just and proper. The order may be changed or modified in the discretion of the court upon application by the conservator or by any person dependent upon the absentee or by the guardian of any minor or incompetent dependent on the absentee.
