§ 53-4-1 - (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Distribution of estate after payment of expenses and debts

53-4-1. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Distribution of estate after payment of expenses and debts


After the payment of the expenses of administration and the debts of the decedent, the balance of the estate, both real and personal, shall stand subject to distribution among the heirs at law of the decedent, according to the rules prescribed by law.
