§ 53-2-114 - (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Compensation to defeated legatee or devisee

53-2-114. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Compensation to defeated legatee or devisee


If, pursuant to Code Section 53-2-111 or 53-2-112, an election is made against the will, the defeated legatee or devisee shall be entitled to compensation out of the property bequeathed to the party electing, to the value of the defeated legacy or devise.
