43-31-3. Recording sales by dealers; opening records to public authorities
Any dealer in pecans who buys any pecans for resale, or for the purpose of processing same, in an amount exceeding the market value of $5.00 at one time shall, at the time of purchase, make a record of the name and address of the seller, the date of the purchase, the amount of the nuts purchased, kinds purchased, and where purchased. These records shall be kept available to public authorities for at least 12 months after the date of the purchase.
