§ 24-10-4 - Forfeiture of witness's fees for excessive claim; penalty

24-10-4. Forfeiture of witness's fees for excessive claim; penalty


A witness who claims more than is due to him shall forfeit all his fees and shall pay to the injured party, in addition thereto, four times the amount so unjustly claimed.
