258.394 Guana River Marsh Aquatic Preserve.

The following described area in St. Johns County is hereby designated by the Legislature for inclusion in the aquatic preserve system under the Florida Aquatic Preserve Act of 1975. Such area, to be known as the Guana River Marsh Aquatic Preserve, shall be included in the aquatic preserve system and shall include all the sovereignty submerged lands and other state-owned lands lying within the following described boundaries: Begin at the intersection of the westerly projection of the south line of Section 18, Township 6 South, Range 30 East, with the westerly mean high water line of Tolomato River: Thence proceed easterly along the south line of Section 18 to the mean high water line of the Atlantic Ocean; thence proceed east three geographic miles into said ocean; thence proceed northerly running parallel with said mean high water line to a point east of the intersection of the southerly right-of-way of Micklers Road and the westerly right-of-way of U.S. A1A; thence proceed west to said intersection; thence proceed southwesterly along the southerly right-of-way of Micklers Road to its intersection with the westerly mean high water line of the Tolomato River; thence proceed southerly along the westerly mean high water line of said river and its tributaries to the point of beginning.
