Law 15-74, the “Nurse Staffing Agency Act of 2003”, was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 15-123, which was referred to the Committee on Human Services. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on October 7, 2003, and November 4, 2003, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on November 25, 2003, it was assigned Act No. 15-239 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 15-74 became effective on March 10, 2004.
