Sec. 22-206. Powers and duties of Commissioner of Agriculture. The Commissioner of Agriculture shall have the power to investigate and regulate all phases of the
milk industry in this state, including the production, handling, transportation, manufacture, storage, distribution, purchase and sale of milk and milk products; provided nothing
herein shall affect other statutes pertaining thereto except as herein specified.

of Agriculture with Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective July 1, 2004; P.A. 04-189 repealed
Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture and Consumer
Protection, effective June 1, 2004.
