Sec. 20-355. Exhibition of licenses. Prohibited acts. License nontransferable.
Expiration date. (a) Each person engaged in servicing receiving equipment shall exhibit
his license upon the request of any interested party.
(b) No person shall: (1) Present or attempt to present, as his own, the license of
another; (2) knowingly give false evidence of a material nature to the board, or any
member of the board, for the purpose of procuring a license; (3) represent himself falsely
as or impersonate a licensed service dealer, licensed electronics technician, apprentice
electronics technician, licensed antenna technician or licensed radio electronics technician; (4) use or attempt to use a license or permit which has expired or which has been
suspended or revoked; or (5) use or attempt to use a license or permit which is restricted
in excess of the restriction imposed on such license or permit. Any person who violates
any provision of this chapter shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than one year or be both fined and imprisoned.
(c) Licenses issued to service dealers, electronics technicians, apprentice technicians, antenna technicians and radio electronics technicians under this chapter shall not
be transferable.
(d) All licenses issued under this chapter shall expire annually. If a licensee has
failed to renew his license within one year after its expiration, his application for renewal
shall be considered as a new application under section 20-350.
