Sec. 20-351. Registration of apprentices. Permits. The board may register as
an apprentice, and the Department of Consumer Protection may issue an apprentice
electronics technician permit to, any applicant not qualified for a license as a licensed
electronics technician who desires to be trained in and who engages in servicing receiving equipment under the supervision of a licensed electronics technician or in an apprentice program approved by the board. Each apprentice so registered shall notify the board
in writing within fifteen days after any change of his employment which effects a change
of his supervising certified electronics technician or apprentice program or a termination
of his apprenticeship.

P.A. 04-189 repealed Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture
and Consumer Protection, effective June 1, 2004.
