Sec. 2-53d. "Program review" and "investigation" defined. As used in sections
2-53e to 2-53j, inclusive:
(1) "Program review" means an examination of state government programs and
their administration to ascertain whether such programs are effective, continue to serve
their intended purposes, are conducted in an efficient and effective manner, or require
modification or elimination; and
(2) "Investigation" means the investigation of any matter which is referred to the
Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee as provided in section 2-53g.
