Sec. 2-35a. Government organization and reorganization.
Sec. 2-35a. Government organization and reorganization. The joint standing
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to government administration, organization and reorganization shall be charged with the duty
and responsibility of overseeing all government organization and reorganization and in
particular any transfer, allocation or consolidation of any state department or agency.
The committee shall have responsibility for continuing review of the organization and
reorganization of state departments and agencies and may from time to time make recommendations to the General Assembly with regard to government organization and reorganization.
