Sec. 19a-69. (Formerly Sec. 19-27). Distribution of biologic products. In order
to protect the public health of the citizens of the state and to assist in the enforcement
of, and compliance with, day care center and school immunization regulations, the Department of Public Health may procure and distribute vaccine or other biologic products
to town, city and borough directors of health and to health care providers for administration as determined by the department.

History: Sec. 19-27 transferred to Sec. 19a-69 in 1983; P.A. 87-111 clarified the department's authority to distribute
