Sec. 14-36b. Renewal. (a) A motor vehicle operator's license shall be renewed
only for the same class or classes for which it was originally issued.
(b) A person may obtain a license for an additional class or classes if he demonstrates, pursuant to subsection (e) of section 14-36, that he is qualified to operate motor
vehicles of such class or classes.
