67525. (a) The authority shall be governed by a board composed of: (1) One member appointed by the Board of Directors of the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District. (2) One member appointed by the Board of Directors of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District. (3) One member appointed by the Mayor of the City of San Francisco. (4) One member appointed by the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. (5) The Director of Transportation of the State of California or any representative duly authorized by him in writing. (6) One member appointed by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. (7) One member, representing private transportation interests, appointed by the Governor. (8) One member appointed by the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Transit District. (b) All public agency members of the board shall be officers of the agency by which they are appointed. (c) Any member of the board may designate, in writing, an alternate who may attend meetings and act in his place and stead. (d) All board members shall serve at the pleasure of the agency by which they are appointed. (e) At least three of the eight members of the board shall be residents of the City and County of San Francisco. 67526. All members of the authority or their duly designated alternates shall serve without pay, but they may receive their necessary actual expenses incurred in the discharge of their duties. 67527. A majority of the members of the board shall constitute a quorum and may act for the authority. 67528. The authority shall maintain an office located in the City and County of San Francisco. 67529. The authority may either employ an executive director, a secretary, an attorney, and such other officers, or employees, or consultants as are necessary to enable it to perform the duties imposed upon it by this title or it may contract for any or all necessary services with a qualified public agency. 67530. The authority may sue and be sued in the name of the San Francisco Bay Area Transportation Terminal Authority.
