§ 24-7-1311 - Term of participation in Teacher Deferred Retirement Option Plan.

24-7-1311. Term of participation in Teacher Deferred Retirement Option Plan.

(a) (1) The election to participate in the Teacher Deferred Retirement Option Plan is irrevocable.

(2) A member's participation in the plan shall not exceed ten (10) years.

(b) Under no circumstances shall a member receive service credit under any state-supported retirement system during a period of plan participation or following a period of plan participation.
