41-4505. Fees and charges; Arizona international development authority fund A. The Arizona international development authority fund is established consisting of: 1. Monies received from tolls, fees, rents and other charges imposed by the authority. 2. Revenues, receipts and other monies received by the authority from public or private entities. 3. Monies received from the United States government to carry out this chapter. 4. Interest and other income received from investing monies in the fund. 5. Gifts, grants and donations received from any public or private source to carry out this chapter. 6. Monies appropriated by the legislature. 7. Any other monies received by the authority. B. The authority may fix, alter, charge and collect tolls, fees and rents and may impose any other charges for the use of any authority facility or for services rendered by the authority on terms and conditions that the authority prescribes. All tolls, fees, rents and other charges imposed by the authority and all revenues, receipts and other monies received by the authority except as expressly otherwise provided in this chapter or in any resolution adopted by the board in connection with the sale of any issue of bonds shall be deposited in the fund and may be used by the authority for any lawful purposes of the authority. C. The board shall administer the fund pursuant to the requirements of this chapter. The board may establish accounts and subaccounts as necessary to properly account for and use monies received by the authority. D. Monies in the Arizona international development authority fund may be used for: 1. Paying costs to administer the fund and to carry out the requirements of this chapter. 2. Paying the compensation and employment related expenses associated with the employment of administrative staff and professional experts. 3. Providing grants or loans for international transportation and infrastructure projects. |
