36-204. Duties of deputy director The deputy director shall: 1. Adopt rules for inpatient services, with the approval of the director, which assure proper review of treatment and discharge plans, arrangement for aftercare placements, transfer of medical records and assistance with medications. 2. If deemed advisable, establish a nurses' training school in connection with the state hospital which shall be under the supervision of the superintendent. 3. Prescribe forms of complaints, certificates of mental illness, and commitments. 4. Adopt rules, with the approval of the director, for commitment of mentally ill persons not inconsistent with provisions of law. 5. Adopt rules, with the approval of the director, for administration of the state hospital and to carry out the purposes of this article. |
