32-932. Restricted permits A. The board may: 1. Issue restricted licenses to applicants who meet the requirements of this section and rules adopted to enforce this chapter, except the board shall not issue a restricted license to an applicant whose license has been suspended or revoked in this state or any other state. 2. By rule, determine the eligibility of applicants for restricted permits and issue restricted permits to applicants the board determines meet the requirements of this section and board rules. 3. Investigate charges of misconduct by persons who hold a restricted permit pursuant to this section. 4. Issue orders to cease and desist and orders of censure, fix the period and terms of probation and suspend or revoke a restricted permit for violations of this chapter. B. A person who holds a restricted permit pursuant to this section may practice chiropractic only if that person has a contract with a recognized charitable clinic or organization as approved by the board. C. Before being issued a restricted license the applicant shall file a copy of the applicant's contract with the board. The contract shall state that the applicant: 1. Understands and acknowledges that if the applicant's contract with the charitable clinic or organization is terminated before the expiration of the restricted permit, that the permit is automatically revoked and the applicant shall surrender the permit to the board. 2. Shall practice chiropractic at a clinic or organization operated only for charitable and nonprofit purposes. 3. That the applicant shall perform chiropractic services without compensation. 4. That the applicant is subject to the provisions of this chapter relating to the regulation of licensed doctors of chiropractic. |
