Incest

An offense which the government can opt to cause trial by a more formal process than by summary process.

The document by which the state sets out the claim that a person has committed a crime. It is on the basis of an indictment that an accused offender must stand trial.

Indigent

A poor person; not penniless, but in need and who has no financial support whatsoever.

Indirect Tax

A tax which is levied indirectly; it is ultimately paid for by the consumer.
