29.3046—Oriented.
A term applied to Type 31 untied tobacco which denotes the arrangement of leaves in a straight and orderly manner. Oriented includes:
(a)
Any lot of baled tobacco in which the leaves are packed parallel to the length of the bale with the butts to the outside and the tips of the leaves overlapping sufficiently to make a level, solid and uniform package;
(b)
Any lot of sheeted tobacco in which the leaves are arranged in a circular pattern with the butts to the outside.
