1409.1—General statement.
(a)
It is the policy of Commodity Credit Corporation, under the provisions of the “Government in the Sunshine Act” (5 U.S.C. 552b) to make available to the public, to the fullest extent practicable, information regarding the decision process of the Board of Directors of Commodity Credit Corporation.
(b)
This part sets forth the procedural requirements designed to provide the public with such information while continuing to protect the rights of individuals and to maintain the capabilities of Commodity Credit Corporation in carrying out its responsibilities under the statutes administered by Commodity Credit Corporation.
