160.054-2—Type and size.
(a) Type.
First-aid kits covered by this specification shall be of the water-tight type. Alternate arrangements of materials meeting the performance requirements of this specification will be given special consideration.
(b) Size.
First-aid kits shall be of a size adequate for packing 12 standard single cartons of the kind indicated in specification subpart .
