101-39.104-1—Consolidations into a fleet management system.
(a)
All Government-owned motor vehicles acquired by executive agencies for official purposes which are operated, stored, or garaged within a defined mandatory use service area of an established fleet management system and other related equipment and supplies shall, when requested by the Administrator, GSA, in accordance with a determination, be transferred to the control and the responsibility of the fleet management system. Those vehicles specifically exempt by:

(b)
Transfers of Government-owned motor vehicles to the control and responsibility of the fleet management system shall be accomplished with transfer forms of the transferring agency or forms furnished by GSA. Each transferring agency shall:

Furnish two copies of the transfer document to the fleet management system receiving the vehicles; and
(4)
Forward an additonal copy of the transfer document to the fleet management system, when a signed receipt is required by the transferring agency.
