180.176—Mancozeb; tolerances for residues.
(a) General.
Tolerances are established for residues of mancozeb (a coordination product of zinc ion and maneb (manganese ethylenebisdithiocarbamate)), including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the following table. Compliance with the tolerance levels specified in this paragraph is to be determined by measuring only those mancozeb residues convertible to and expressed in terms of the degradate carbon disulfide.

(b) emergency exemptions.
Time limited tolerances are established in connection with use of the pesticide under a section 18 emergency exemption granted by EPA for residues of mancozeb (a coordination product of zinc ion and maneb (manganese ethylenebisdithiocarbamate)), including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the following table. Compliance with the tolerance levels specified in this paragraph is to be determined by measuring only those mancozeb residues convertible to and expressed in terms of the degradate carbon disulfide. The tolerances will expire and are revoked on the dates specified in the following table.
Commodity | Parts per million | Expiration/Revocation Date |
---|---|---|
Ginseng | 2.0 | 12/31/10 |
Walnut | 0.015 | 12/31/13 |
