200.17—Intermediate goals.
Each State must establish intermediate goals that increase in equal increments over the period covered by the timeline under § 200.15 as follows:
(a)
The first incremental increase must take effect not later than the 2004-2005 school year.
(b)
Each following incremental increase must occur in not more than three years.
