(a) Location.
The following area is a security zone which exists concurrent with an Army Corps of Engineers restricted area in § 334.635 of this title. (b) Definitions.
The following definition applies to this section. Designated representative means Coast Guard Patrol Commanders including Coast Guard coxswains, petty officers and other officers operating Coast Guard vessels, and federal, state, and local officers designated by or assisting the Captain of the Port St. Petersburg (COTP), in the enforcement of regulated navigation areas, safety zones, and security zones.
(c) Regulations.
In accordance with the general regulations in § 165.33 of this part, entry into, anchoring, mooring, or transiting this zone by persons or vessels is prohibited without the prior permission of the Coast Guard Captain of the Port St. Petersburg or a designated representative.
