29.334—Deposit service.
(a) Teachers Plan.
(1)
Periods of
civilian service that were not subject to
retirement deductions at the time they were
performed are creditable for Federal Benefit
Payments under the Teachers Plan if the deposit
for the service was paid in full to the Teachers
Plan as of June 30, 1997.
(2)
No credit is allowed for Federal Benefit
Payments under the Teachers Plan for any period of
civilian service that was not subject to
retirement deductions at the time it was performed
if the deposit for the service was not paid in
full as of June 30, 1997.
(b) Police and Firefighters Plan.
(1997)
allowed for Federal Benefit Payments
under the Police and Firefighters Plan for any
period of civilian service that was not subject to
retirement deductions at the time that the service
