36.93—Is a homeliving handbook required?
Yes, each program must publish a homeliving handbook, which may be incorporated into a general student handbook. During the first week the students and staff are in the dormitory, the homeliving program must:

Provide all staff, students, and parents or guardians with a current and updated copy of student rights and responsibilities;
(c)
Conduct an orientation for all students on the handbook and student rights and responsibilities; and
(d)
Ensure that all students, school staff, and to the extent possible, parents and guardians confirm in writing that they have received a copy of and understand the homeliving handbook.
