638.700—Experimental, research, and demonstration projects.
(a)
The Job Corps Director, at his or her discretion, may undertake experimental, research, or demonstration projects for the purpose of promoting greater efficiency and effectiveness in the Job Corps program in accordance with section 433 of the Act.
(b)
The Job Corps Director may arrange for projects under this section to be undertaken jointly with other Federal or federally assisted programs.
(c)
The Secretary may waive any provision of this part that the Secretary finds would prevent the implementation of experimental, research, or demonstration project elements essential to a determination of their feasibility and usefulness.
