200.735-124—General.

The procedures in this subpart are established pursuant to sub section 207(j) of title 18, United States Code, for the administrative enforcement of the restrictions on postemployment activities in Title V of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (18 U.S.C. 207 (a), (b), and (c)) and implementing regulations published by the Office of Government Ethics ( 5 CFR part 737 ). Sub sections 207 (a), (b), and (c) of Title 18, United States Code, prohibit certain forms of representational activity or communications by former Commission employees.
